NLP -
NLP is a process using words (language) that enables people to be responsible for their own actions and lives. It creates a far more positive way of thinking and acting, allowing the person to have control over what happens to them.
A person who is living at effect, ie that is not taking responsibility for their actions can be said to be out of rapport with their subconscious minds. By using NLP techniques, this can be rectified.
NLP processes combined with hypnotherapy can have very powerful effects for the better on many problems that people claim to have. One of the main laws of NLP is to respect an individual’s model of the world, people are not their behaviours, these are just states that they are in at the time. Change the state, and change the person.
NLP covers many other aspects of improving the quality of life of the person. For example setting goals, more effective communication and the ability to respect that everybody’s different.
Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a deep state of relaxation for both the body and the conscious and subconscious
minds. When your body is relaxed so your mind relaxes, and there is no limit on how
deep that relaxation can go. Although the mind and body is totally relaxed, the person
under hypnosis will be totally aware of surrounding noises and is able to accept
or reject the hypnotherapist’s suggestions. It is therefore vital that the hypnotist
uses the language of their patients when making suggestions or post-

A hypnotherapist must be a good listener and able to ask questions and get answers that willl empower their client. A hypnotist should never attempt to impose their model of the world on a client, and this is where hypnotherapy ties in with NLP.
